Children love to celebrate their birthdays at school. We celebrate each child’s birthday on his or her birthday or a day close to it. We begin our celebration after lunch and parents are welcome to attend. Some children choose to bring goodies to share with the class. If you choose to bring in a treat, please bring in something other than a food item.
If you decide to bring treats to class, make sure to bring enough for everyone. Birthdays can be celebrated with more than just cupcakes. This year we would like parents to bring something that children can take home with them. Stickers, balloons, pencils & even a fancy bookmarker are all fun for children.
We will have a Halloween party and Valentine’s day party in our classrooms. We will also have two all school parties, one two weeks before Thanksgiving in the evening, and the other, the last day of school beginning at 11:30 AM. Parents will find sign up sheets outside classroom doors the month of the event. Anyone is welcome to help during these parties, even if you have younger siblings.
