Hands On Art & Play offers young children a place to explore arts, crafts and music in an environment that is exciting, safe and fun.
Hands On follows the same routine each day so the children feel secure in knowing what to expect throughout the day. The times of our activities flow with the needs of the children.
Each day children have many opportunities to create artwork. There is a new project every day, as well as ongoing projects we work on for several weeks. Art activities help children develop their creativity and sharpen fine motor skills.
Children work independently on many projects, and also play and create with other children their age. Hands On helps children learn appropriate behavior and how to use their words to get what they need. The children enjoy learning together and forming friendships. |
Two and Three Year Olds

Monet Class
For many students, Hands on is their first school experience and first time away from home. The program's small size and nurturing staff help make that experience a happy one. Our Monet class has two teachers and between eight and ten children each day. |
Four and Five Year Olds

Picasso Class
Hands On encourages and supports older children as they naturally strive to learn how to write, read, and count. Older children work longer on their projects and receive the individual attention they need. Our small classes allow teachers to help each child get ready for kindergarten. Our Picasso class has twelve students and two teachers each day. |
